Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Business in 30 Lab website and your application to the Lab. The Lab is a one-month, selective, build-first program led by Yaminah Childress. By using this site or submitting an application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or apply.

A separate program and separate services

These terms address this Lab website and application process. They do not replace, amend, waive, or override the Contractr AI Terms of Use, Contractr AI Privacy Policy, or any agreement for the Contractr AI platform. Those terms remain in force wherever they apply and control use of the Contractr AI platform. If you are accepted into the Lab, a later written enrollment or payment arrangement may provide additional terms for participation; those specific terms control that participation to the extent they differ from this site-use notice.

Who may apply and what application means

The Lab is intended for adults who are starting or building a business. If you apply on behalf of a business, you should be authorized to provide its information. Provide accurate information that you have the right to share. The readiness flow offers a suggested focus, not an eligibility decision. Applying is free and does not guarantee acceptance, reserve a place, or create a client or professional relationship.

The Lab reviews applications for a clear build goal, readiness to participate, and willingness to do the work. Ten sponsored places are planned for each monthly cohort, subject to availability and final selection. We will contact applicants about outcomes and next steps using the email they provide.

Program and participant investment

The planned month includes a kickoff strategy session, weekly office hours, and hands-on build sprints. Deliverables depend on your starting point and the work you complete. We may reasonably adjust dates, format, or activities and will communicate material changes to accepted participants. No particular launch, revenue, funding, legal result, or other business outcome is guaranteed.

The currently advertised program value is $1,000. A sponsored place covers $750 of that value, leaving a $250 participant investment for an accepted applicant. This sponsorship is a reduction in the participant fee, not a cash grant or a payment to the applicant. No payment is collected through this website. If accepted, you will receive separate written payment and enrollment details, including any applicable cancellation or refund terms, before paying.

Educational information and legal matters

Site content, the fit flow, and general Lab guidance are educational and practical information, not individualized legal, tax, accounting, or other regulated advice. Applying or participating does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Drafts, policies, agreements, and other work product should be reviewed for your circumstances by an appropriately qualified professional before you rely on them. Any separate professional engagement requires its own agreement.

Your materials and use of the site

You keep ownership of the business ideas, answers, and materials you submit. You permit the Lab and its service providers to use your application only as reasonably needed to review it, contact you, administer the process, and, if accepted, support your participation. We will not publish your application as a testimonial without separate permission. Do not include payment card data, health information, government identifiers, or another person's confidential information in the application.

Use the site lawfully. Do not impersonate others, submit information you cannot share, interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated submissions to abuse the application process. The site's design, copy, and other Lab materials remain the property of their respective owners; you may not republish them commercially without permission.

Hosting and availability

This website is hosted through OpenAI's ChatGPT Sites service, with separate email delivery through Resend. OpenAI is not the operator, sponsor, or endorser of the Lab. The agreements between the site operator and those providers do not make them parties to these Lab terms. To the extent allowed by law, this site is provided as available; we cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every application email will arrive instantly. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Privacy, changes, and contact

Our Lab Privacy Policy explains how application and visitor information is handled. We may update these terms as the site or program changes. The current version and effective date will be posted here; material changes affecting accepted participants will be communicated as appropriate.
