Do I need to have a business already?
No. Bring an idea you are ready to move into action, or an early business that needs more clarity and structure. We start with where you are.
Is this only for tech startups?
Not at all. The Lab is for creatives, service providers, tech businesses, product businesses, and other small businesses. The work is shaped around your business.
What actually happens during the month?
We begin with a kickoff strategy session, meet for weekly office hours, and work through hands-on sprints between sessions. You build real pieces of your business as you go.
What will I have at the end?
Your deliverables depend on your starting point. They may include a clearer offer and audience, a practical action plan, an infrastructure map, and working drafts of priority agreements, policies, or workflows.
How do the sponsored places work?
Sponsored places are limited. A place covers 75% of the $1,000 program value, so the accepted participant investment is $250 for the month. Payment is requested separately after acceptance.
Is admission automatic if I apply?
No. The Lab is a small, selective cohort. Applications are reviewed for a clear build goal, readiness to participate, and willingness to do the work. If you are accepted, you will receive the next steps and separate payment details.
How much time should I plan to put in?
Plan to attend the kickoff and weekly office hours, then set aside time to do the sprint work between sessions. The Lab is hands-on, so your progress comes from building alongside the guidance.
Will we cover business and legal infrastructure?
Yes. We can identify which agreements, policies, roles, and operating practices need attention and work on practical drafts and next steps. The Lab does not replace individualized legal advice or representation.
